In accordance with KRS 350.055, notice is hereby
given that Deane Mining LLC, P. O. Box 71, 306
Consol Tipple Road, Deane, Kentucky 41812 has
applied for renewal of permit no. 860-5407, an
underground mining operation underlying 5059.0
acres, located 2.0 mile south of Hall in Knott
County, Kentucky and also underlying areas in
Floyd, Pike, and Letcher counties.

The operation is approximately 1.5 miles south
from the junction of KY Route 7 and KY Route
1498 and located along Right Fork of Beaver
Creek.

The operation is located on the Kite and Wheelwright U.S.G.S. 7 1/2 minute quadrangle map.
There is no surface disturbance area associated
with the permit. The permit underlies surface
owned by Talmer & Lillian Collier, Rodger Hall,
Has Hall, Larry Yonts, Ray Slone, Fess Hall, Grant
Honeycutt, Lola Mullins, J.H. Hal Heirs c/o Gladys
